Jon Mac

Jon Mac is the CEO of Blockchain Capital, a venture-capital firm focused on blockchain assets. Jon has been an early adopter and investor in Bitcoin for five years. In 2013 he started exchanging DRK to BTC on LocalBitcoins for his own account as well as those of friends and family members who wanted to invest without risk from price fluctuations.

Jon Mac is an American company that is a manufacturer of power tools. It was founded by Jon Mac in 1879. The company has been around for over 130 years.

Jon Mac

Is Jon Mac a Rip-Off? If you wish to establish an eCommerce company, you may have came across Jon Mac’s course.

While many experts portray dropshipping as a get-rich-quick plan, the fact is that drop shipping has a significant failure rate. Jon Mac, like other gurus, claims to have the winning eCommerce technique to teach you, but is this true?

To be clear, I am not affiliated with Jon Mac, so you can trust that my views are impartial and genuine.

I’ll go through the following topics in my review of Jon Mac’s course:

What exactly is the Store Formula?

Store Formula is an online eCommerce course that teaches you how to dropship your products.

Dropshipping and CommerceHQ are combined in one product. Jon Mac also established CommerceHQ, an alternative to Shopify, which is a prominent eCommerce platform.

Video lessons are used to provide the course. There are 53 lessons totaling 9 hours and 17 minutes in duration.

The following is a list of the modules covered in the 4-week course:

Week 1: Construct (Length: 2 Hours 37 Minutes)

This week’s topic is how to set up your shop using CommerceHQ rather than Shopify.

Week 2: Make a decision (Length: 2 Hours 17 Minutes)

The classes this week will teach you how to locate and choose items for dropshipping.

Week 3: Debut (Duration: 1 hour and 55 minutes)

Jon will show you how to set up Facebook advertisements to boost traffic this week.

Week 4: Delegate (Duration: 1 hour and 29 minutes)

The last week of the course is all about using virtual assistants to help you with your job. This is only important if your shop is successful.

Despite the high fee, the course material is quite brief. It focuses only on Facebook advertisements. As a result, alternative free traffic strategies will not be covered in this course.

Recommendation: This Is The Most Effective Alternative

Who is Jon Mac, exactly?

Jon Mac is a digital marketer who has developed a number of online courses, platforms, and publications, including Freedom Formula, CommerceHQ, and Store Formula. Is Jon Mac a Scam? Store Formula Review 2020

He states that his motivation and desire stems from the fact that he is able to make a difference in the lives of his pupils. However, it is most likely merely a sales pitch to get people to purchase his courses.

Jon Mac does not have a large number of subscribers or followers on social media platforms such as Instagram or YouTube when compared to other dropshipping experts.

What is the cost of store-bought formula? Is it a Course Worth Taking?

The cost of the course is $997. Personally, I believe it is pricey since the course material is insufficient. It just goes through the fundamentals of dropshipping. And some of the information is theoretical rather than practical.

With this price tag, you’d expect a more extensive explanation and step-by-step example. The Store Formula, on the other hand, is unable to achieve this fair expectation.

The Benefits and Drawbacks of Store Formula

Advantages of Store Formula

  • The course is updated on a regular basis.
  • Email ticketing systems work well for support.
  • Includes one year of CommerceHQ hosting for six stores (after that, you’ll have to pay $299 per month).

Store Formula’s Drawbacks

  • Jon Mac exclusively teaches Facebook advertising, which are quite costly for beginners.
  • The course is far too expensive.
  • The majority of the course materials are freely accessible on YouTube.
  • The course’s material isn’t all-inclusive.
  • There are a lot of hypotheses that aren’t realistic.
  • HQCommerce does not compare to Shopify.

Is Jon Mac a Rip-Off? Why don’t I give it a recommendation?

John Mac is not a con artist, and his classes do provide some value. Is it, however, truly worth the money? To be honest, the course information is insufficient to assist you in establishing a profitable dropshipping company.

The course has allegedly produced “thousands of successful pupils, 32 billionaires, and 256 6-figure incomes,” according to Jon. However, there is no way to confirm this since testimonials and student ratings are readily altered and fabricated.

Also, Jon will try to encourage you to use his own platform, CommerceHQ, which is inferior than Shopify. Shopify is used by the majority of dropshippers for a reason. CommerceHQ is so young that there isn’t much feedback available online. On Trustpilot, there are four reviews with an average rating of just three stars.

As a result, I do not suggest Jon Mac’s dropshipping course.

Is dropshipping a feasible choice in the year 2020?

As a seasoned dropshipper, I can tell you that the process is becoming more complicated. If you want to establish a six-figure dropshipping company, you’ll have to put in some effort to understand out how it works.

Here are a few reasons why I don’t think dropshipping is a good idea:

1. Financial Danger

If you don’t advertise, your dropshipping shop will not sell anything. However, Facebook ad expenses are increasing, eroding your PROFITS. It might take weeks or even months to break even, much alone make a profit.

To put it another way, dropshipping requires you to assume a LARGE FINANCIAL RISK.

2. Facebook Ads are Expensive and Time Consuming

Based on the experiences of most dropshippers, the total cost of your Facebook ads will account for at least 30% of your entire sales.

However, Facebook advertising are seldom successful for lengthy periods of time. Your ad becomes useless after the audience has been fatigued. Your overall income will be much reduced, and you may even lose money.

According to Forbes, Facebook’s ad expenses have increased by 90% year over year.

Worse still, since Facebook’s algorithm is always changing, the learning curve for Facebook advertisements is rather high. Learning and testing Facebook Ads will take a significant amount of time and money.

If you run Facebook advertisements without any prior expertise, your account will be suspended for breaking the company’s rigorous standards.

3. Customer Service

You must spend a lot of time negotiating with suppliers and dealing with customer support while dropshipping.

You must wait for your supplier to assist you if your client has a problem with the goods. You must face the loss if your supplier is not cooperative. As a result, many dropshipping shops have negative customer reviews and no repeat customers.

In the worst-case scenario, you should anticipate a high number of credit card chargebacks, putting your payment gateway at danger of being shut down.

4. A significant amount of effort was put into product research.

To maintain your shop profitable, you must constantly locate a product with the potential to become viral in order to pay the expenditures of advertising.

Most items in dropshipping achieve their peak in 1-2 months or even weeks. This is due to the fact that numerous rivals will copy your goods and make a better advertisement. Alternatively, they may boost their Facebook ad spending to outbid you.

As a result, you must continue to identify fresh substitutes in order to generate cash flow.

People may report revenues on the internet, but they do not disclose the net revenue.

Some of them may be profitable, but it isn’t long-term.

The dropshipping business idea isn’t as simple as it seems. The majority of individuals who succeed at dropshipping do it full-time since it demands you to constantly source new goods, create new businesses, test new marketing, and hunt for new suppliers in order to maintain a consistent revenue.

Is There an Easier & Better Alternative to Dropshipping?

You could ask whether there is a better business strategy that doesn’t need Facebook advertisements and can be done as a side hustle if you don’t want to squander your time or jeopardize your hard-earned money.

Yes, I recommend that you begin with affiliate marketing. You don’t even have to deal with customer service, so it’s a lot simpler and less time consuming.

Affiliate marketing allows you to operate your company for absolutely little money. Most significantly, you won’t have to spend any money on product development.

However, how much money can you make with affiliate marketing?

A 21-year-old student from my #1 rated affiliate marketing training platform earned $7,395 in only one week, or more than $1000 per day…all while utilizing free traffic strategies and affiliate marketing.
