My System: 8 Hours of Work A Week on Fiverr

My System: 8 Hours of Work A Week on Fiverr

Thanks to the internet, many people are finding new and interesting ways to generate income. Gig workers on Fiverr have been using their skills like writing or graphic design for a few bucks per hour. One man has taken this concept further by creating his own system that allows him to work 8 hours a week in exchange for $1 million dollars upfront.

Fiverr is a website that allows people to sell their services for $5, and it has been gaining popularity. This service looks like it’s on hold. Read more in detail here: looks like this service is on hold fiverr.

My System: 8 Hours of Work A Week on Fiverr

You’ve probably developed your own little pattern now that you’re receiving orders on a regular basis. If you receive enough orders per day, you’ll discover that answering or starting each job as it’s requested takes much too long. No matter how tempted you are, you should not reply to a new order right away.

By the way, have you read my in-depth assessment of Fiverr? Whether you haven’t already done so, read it to see if Fiverr is worth your time.

After that, you’ll want to batch your delivery. To make things ridiculously simple, I always send the same note with every delivery, regardless of whose job it is. When I give a concert, I copy and paste my message instead than typing it out every time.

For example, EverCopy stores notes that may be simply copied from your browser.

You could simply save your delivery message in a text file and open it whenever you want on your computer, but I prefer EverCopy since it allows me to copy text to my clipboard with a single click.

Similar extensions or add-ons for Chrome, Firefox, and other browsers are likely to exist. If you don’t like EverCopy, try googling for “copy-paste notes.” When I give my concerts, I put the same identical delivery note onto each one:

WOOHOO!!

Your order has now been fulfilled!

Thank you for your patronage and patience.

If you are unable to give me a full five stars before rating my services, please let me know! I will either fix the issue or refund your money.

Please consider giving me five stars in every area if you’re satisfied with my services!

It is quite beneficial to me!

Depending on the assignment, I could put a disclaimer with this message or on my website in order to upsell a comparable service. For example, I have a job where I install WordPress, therefore I connect to my web design website to upsell additional services. I keep track of each kind of gig in a separate note so that I can swiftly copy and paste remarks while giving a job.

Batching

One thing I must mention is that Fiverr’s seller interface is terrible. It just does. There’s no way to add comments to orders, organize them, or track which ones you’ve begun, for example. The “To Do” page is similarly a shambles.

I don’t use it, and I don’t encourage that you start using it either. It doesn’t inform you which orders you’ve already started or for which gig each order is intended. You just see a list of “You must deliver your order,” with no indication of which performance it is for.

The Sales page is what I utilize. Why? Because at the very least, the Sales page will show you which concerts you’ve already clicked on or read, as well as which ones you haven’t.

Orders that you haven’t seen or clicked on yet will be labeled “New” in yellow, while orders that you have read and clicked on will be labeled “In Progress” in blue. In a second, I’ll show you how I utilize this to categorize the orders I need to deliver and the ones I need to start on.

The following is my system. If I choose an order, I must initiate it. Any order that shows “In Progress” on the Sales page implies I’ve read it, opened it, and begun it.

If I am unable to begin the order for some reason, such as the buyer failing to provide a link to the site for which backlinks are desired, I will leave a message for the buyer and then click the star next in the top-left corner of the page to notify me that this gig requires attention on the Sales page.

You’ll be able to batch your orders and then batch your delivery as a result of this. When you go to the Sales page, the first thing you should do is browse through the “In Progress” jobs and see which ones are approaching their due date. If you’ve finished those orders, go ahead and open them all in a new tab, then deliver them all.

If your orders don’t need anything more to be included or uploaded, you may just copy and paste your delivery message and select Deliver. Return to the Sales page after you’ve delivered the orders you’ve finished and they’re approaching their due dates.

Take a peek at all of the “New” orders here. Open each of them in a new tab and process each order using the information they offer one at a time.

If I can’t start a job because the buyer hasn’t supplied all of the essential information, I’ll click the star next to the order and leave a note for the customer. If I am able to complete the job, I will leave a note in the order letting the buyer know that I have begun working on it and thanking them once again for their purchase.

When you start getting 20 or more orders each day, this is a fantastic strategy to use. This program may be done once a day. Check on any “In Progress” jobs, deliver those that are finished, and then begin all “New” gigs.

My Fiverr Routine on a Daily Basis

I simply use Fiverr once a day to do my everyday tasks. It takes me no more than 70 minutes to complete my daily regimen. This daily practice should not use more than 8 hours each week. It’s critical to maintain discipline and refrain from checking Fiverr many times every day.

You’ll grow overwhelmed as you receive more orders, so batching all of your orders and delivery is the key to putting your Fiverr profits on autopilot. Allow me to explain my daily routine to you.

1. Go to “order updates” and see what’s new.

First and foremost, I check my email. It’s critical to setup email alerts so that you are notified anytime a buyer modifies or adds a message to their purchase.

You could click the speech bubble but you will quickly see how disastrous that is when you have many updates and orders per day. I recommend going to Settings > Account Settings and ensuring you have at least “Order messages” ticked under Email. This way you will get an email whenever a buyer posts a message in their order. The first thing I like to do is check my email and check order messages.

The following phase in my process differs depending on the sort of gig I’m selling: if I outsource my work, I’ll finish the jobs I’ve already started before starting new ones. I merely verify with my supplier to see whether the job has been completed, and if so, I deliver the gig. If I have to undertake the job myself, I’ll first look for fresh orders to finish before providing the assignments.

2. Fulfill gigs

I open all orders that are approaching their due date and are “In Progress” in new tabs, following my technique from the previous part “Batching.” I then go over each tab one by one, making sure the sequence is correct. Either the provider to whom I outsourced the task finished the work, or I completed it myself. It is contingent on the job. If you need to accomplish anything urgently, such as video scribing, go to the following step before this one.

This stage assumes you completed the prior day’s work. Remember to copy and paste your delivery message into all of the gigabytes that need to be sent, as well as attach any needed work, using a program like EverCopy.

3. Begin placing fresh orders.

Look through all of the “New” orders and open each one in a new tab. If I’m selling a variety of gigs, I prefer to arrange the tabs in some kind of sequence, such as all the Twitter follower gigs first, then the Facebook like gigs, and so on.

Obviously, we’ll start with the orders that paid for the “Express” gig extra before moving on to the rest. When I outsource work, I collect all of the data from the orders, give it to a provider, and then forget about it. If there is work to be done, such as article spinning, I will do it right away if I have the time, or I will go back to the Sales page and flag the orders to remind myself that I have all of the necessary information and that I must fulfill them. Remember that when you open a “New” order, Fiverr will automatically designate it as “In Progress.”

4. Look through your inbox for any communications.

Answer all of your questions and queries here, and remember to stick to the advice I’ve given you thus far, as well as some of the material in Chapter 8. If I don’t want to react to a message, I mark it “Read” so it doesn’t appear in my inbox as unread.

Requests from Buyers

I prefer to visit the Buyer Requests area if I haven’t spent more than an hour on Fiverr. I’ll be the first to admit that a lot of folks come here hoping to get a lot for $5. In reality, the majority of the requests in this area are ludicrous, and I’m shocked so many of them receive a response. Still, it’s worth a look since it may lead to a sale you wouldn’t have gotten otherwise.

App Fiverr

If you have an iPhone or Android (who doesn’t?)I highly recommend downloading the App Fiverr, it’s free. I wouldn’t recommend trying to deliver gigs or anything like that with it but only to use it as a tool for your efficiency on Fiverr.

I prefer to turn on the app’s alerts so that I can rapidly get notifications of new reviews (both good and bad) and read them fast, as well as follow up if necessary. It’s also a good idea to react to messages in your inbox.

When it comes to checking which orders are due and such, it’s not very well laid out and I wouldn’t recommend it unless the App Fiverr has been significantly improved by the time you are reading this.

However, at the time of editing this book, Fiverr announced a new app for Fiverr sellers that would be available shortly, enabling users to deliver jobs directly from their phone, so keep an eye out if that app is available by the time you read this.

I also strongly advise you to go into the app’s settings and set yourself to “Online mode” every time you log in. This will help you look more active by allowing prospective purchasers to see that you’re online.

The Best Fiverr Substitute

I have a suggestion for you if you don’t like Fiverr. You have the option of using Upwork.

Elance and oDesk merged in 2015 to become the firm. It became a public corporation in October of 2018. It’s intriguing, however, that it hasn’t yet turned a profit.

The website functions as a freelancing marketplace where businesses may locate and hire independent freelancers from all around the world. In addition, the site is regarded among the best freelancing platforms in terms of customer spending.

Upwork has been dubbed the “eBay for freelancers” because of its numerous parallels to the thriving online marketplace eBay. Its principal role right now is to link buyers and vendors through an internet platform.

Upwork is a well-known freelancing platform that brings together millions of employers and freelancers from all around the globe.

Upwork has freelancers in practically every nation due to the company’s worldwide presence.

On the Upwork platform, there are more than 50 different sectors represented. On their website, you may discover freelance developers, designers, copywriters, editors, and consultants, among other services.

I’ve produced a thorough Upwork review to assist you in determining if Upwork is right for you. You may read it before opting to generate money on Upwork.

The “get briefs set a rate fiverr” is a service that allows freelancers to create their own gigs on Fiverr. The service offers 8 hours of work per week for $5.
